About The Fay J. Lindner Center
The Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities at Advantage Care offers comprehensive outpatient clinical services and evaluations to all members of the community across their lifespan.
The Fay J. Lindner Center offers a wide range of services that are designed to support individuals and their families, specializing in autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). Clinicians develop individualized treatment recommendations addressing social, emotional, communication, cognitive, adaptive, affective and behavioral lines of development.

North Shore/LIJ Health System Origin
In 2001, the Fay J. Lindner Center was formed by North Shore/LIJ Health System to meet the needs of children and adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs), their families and the community.
Joining Advantage Care Health Center
In 2009, the Fay J. Lindner Center joined with Advantage Care Health Center and continued to provide comprehensive outpatient clinical services and evaluations to people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and included individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
For over 15 years, the Lindner Center has provided the highest quality of care based on current research and evidence-based treatment. With significant resources afforded by our affiliation with Northwell Health, The Fay J. Lindner Center is well positioned to continue to develop innovative clinical services and training.
Becoming a Federally Qualified Health Center
In 2015, Advantage Care Health Center became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), expanding its mission to provide outpatient clinical services to all members of the community.
