Dr. Olivieri received her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Stony Brook University in 2015, Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree from LIU @ Post in 2004.  From 2001 to 2005, she was an RN at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn and in 2005 joined the Suffolk Heart Group in Smithtown and Bay Shore as a Practice NP for their cardiologists.  She continued as an NP with several practices on Long Island.  In 2013, Dr. Olivieri became an Assistant Graduate Nursing Professor in the Nursing Program at LIU @ Post and in 2016, joined the staff of Sound Endocrinology, located in Stony Brook.

Between 2011 and 2016, Dr. Olivieri has held hospital privileges at Manhasset Hospital, Syosset Hospital, Plainview Hospital and Huntington Hospital. She conducted research from 2013 to 2015 as Primary Investigator for “An Educational Intervention using the Paleo Diet to Prevent Prediabetes Progression to Type 2 Diabetes.” She has had publications in the Nurse Practitioner Journal and the Journal for Leadership in Instruction.  In 2018 she published a book: “The Paleo Advantage; Using Paleo Diet and Functional Medicine Principles to Prevent Common Diseases of the Modern World: Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease”, available on Amazon.com.
