Today 3-21 is World Down Syndrome Day. 3/21 is chosen as in Down Syndrome individuals have 3 copies of the 21st chromosome. We serve many wonderful patients with Down Syndrome and today is a day to celebrate them!

One of the fun initiatives worldwide to celebrate today is to “Rock Your Socks”. The chromosomes on an official karyotype used to diagnose Down Syndrome look like bright colorful socks. Advantage Care staff participated in this today in celebration of our patients with Down Syndrome.
