On behalf of Advantage Care, we want to thank everyone who participated in the Kohl’s volunteer event that took place at our health center last week.
As a result of Kohl’s volunteers’ time and talents, over 350 bags were packed with health care supplies and educational materials! These bags will be used for the Women’s Health Fair to be held mid-May 2019. In addition, Kohl’s staff hand-designed event table signs and bundled totes for additional materials that will be distributed to participants on the day of the fair.
The Women’s Health and Wellness Fair offers the women we support a great opportunity for learning and networking. This is in alignment with our commitment to empowering them to engage in preventative and proactive healthcare to achieve optimal outcomes and quality of life.
Kohl’s has demonstrated a commitment to the community by supporting the women served by Advantage Care and Nassau County residential programs (AHRC and Citizens). Thank you for all of your help and support!
