Dr. Sarah Vignola is a graduate of New York College of Dentistry. During her time at NYUCD she served as teaching assistant to dental students, wrote and published two journal articles about CAD/ CAM technology, served as a clinical affairs representative on the student council, and in her last year, completed an honors program in Aesthetic Dentistry. During dental school, she completed rotations in special needs dentistry and began to develop a passion for treating said underserved patient population.
Additionally, Dr. Vignola was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. After graduation, she completed a general practice residency at Stony Brook University, wherein her second year, served as chief resident. During Dr. Vignola’s residency, she treated patients with varying special needs. For patients who could not be treated in the clinic, Dr. Vignola treated said patients within Stony Brook Hospital’s operating room, so patients could receive the care they needed, safely and comfortably.
Dr. Vignola is a member of the American Dental Association and the Suffolk County Dental Association. When Dr. Vignola is not treating patients, she is taking continuing education courses in various fields of dentistry to offer the most up to date technology and practices to her patient.
