June 23, 2023February is Black History Month which is an annual celebration of the achievements and deep-rooted history of African Americans in the United States. This month gives us an opportunity to educate ourselves, reflect, and work together to create a better future for generations to come.
As an organization, Advantage Care, is more dedicated than ever to using the trauma-informed values and principles of safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment with an intentional commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and justice (DEIAJ) ensuring universal precautions for the impact of individual, historical, structural, and racial trauma in our work.
