Red Alert For CHC’s Day 2-6-2018 #RedAlert4CHCS
February 7, 2018

The flu season is here and by now you have likely heard how widespread the flu activity is this year.  If you have had the flu or know someone who has you know how serious it can be.

Steps that will help to minimize your chances of getting the flu include staying away from people who are sick, covering coughs and sneezes and frequent handwashing to help slow the spread of germs.

Getting a flu vaccination each year may also be helpful. If you have not yet received a flu vaccination this year you may want to consult with Advantage Care Health Centers @ 516-686-4400, your local pharmacy or contact your doctor to schedule an appointment.

If you believe you have the Flu, please contact your doctor or Advantage Care Health Centers@ 516-686-4400. They may recommend that you take Tamiflu to help reduce your symptoms.

If you become sick, it is recommended that you stay home from work and rest at least 24 hours after you no longer have a fever. This is important so that you can get well as soon as possible while avoiding the potential of spreading the flu to others.

Thank you everyone and please take care of yourselves
