National Coming Out Day honors all who have come out as LGBTQIA+ or as a straight ally. It is a day dedicated to raising awareness of civil rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Every person who speaks up changes more hearts and minds, and creates new advocates for equality.
National Coming Out Day is an important opportunity for our health center, on behalf of the people we support as well as Advantage Care LGBTQIA+ staff, to acknowledge the diversity that exists in the world related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.
